2012 NFL Predictions

AFC

AFC East

1. New England Patriots 15-1

The Patriots made sure to Improve the Defense in the Offseason adding Hightower, Jones and Gregory. Winning 13 games in 2011 with the 31st ranked Defense was Incredible, with an Improved Defense in 2012 15 wins is not out of the Question.

2. Buffalo Bills 9-7

Added Talent on Defense with Williams and Anderson will help but I still don't think they have the Coaching and consistency on Offense to make the Playoffs.

3. New York Jets 5-11

This is gonna be a train wreck. Tebow will start by week 10 but by then it will be too late. This Team will be lucky to win 5 games.

4. Miami Dolphins 3-13

Rebuilding is an understatement. This Team has very little talent, they have a long way to go. I believe Tannehill will be solid but he will have his rookie struggles and he has no weapons to work with.

AFC North

1. Baltimore Ravens 11-5

The Ravens Defense is aging and the Offense still needs to prove it can win games. The will win this Division but it will be a struggle.

2. Cincinnati Bengals 10-6

The young Bengals came out of nowhere in 2011, can they keep it going or was it just a flash in the pan? I think they have something to build on, they will return to the Playoffs in 2012.

3. Pittsburgh Steelers 8-8

The Steelers are old and injured. There is no way this team contends in 2012.

4. Cleveland Browns 4-12

Another rebuilding team who I wouldn't expect to make any noise in the next few years.

AFC South

1. Houston Texans 13-3

The Texans took a huge step in 2011 by finally making the Playoffs. In 2012 they will look to make another step to a legit Super Bowl Contender.

2. Indianapolis Colts 10-6

The Colts are one of my surprise teams in 2012. Remember that they went 10-6 in 2010 before tanking it last season. If they had Manning last season they win 9 or 10 games. This year with Luck they have the team to win 10.

3. Tennessee Titans 9-7

The Titans went 9-7 last year and didn't do much to improve during the offseason. They will be competitive but will come up short of making the Playoffs.

4. Jacksonville Jaguars 5-11

The Jags have a solid Defense but they have a one dimensional Offense. They are not good enough to win in the NFL.

AFC West

1. Kansas City Chiefs 10-6

The Chiefs will get back Cassell and Charles back this season. 8 wins won this Division last season, I expect the Chiefs to return to 2010 form and win this Division.

2. Denver Broncos 9-7

I'm not ready to say Manning is gonna be fine and play like he did a few years ago. Until I see it I can't predict it. This defense is also overrated, especially against the Pass.

3. Oakland Raiders 8-8

If McFadden can stay healthy they could actually win up to as many as 10 games but I think that might be asking a lot. Also their secondary isn't that strong and the Defense will loss them games.

4. San Diego Chargers 6-10

This is the worst Offense in the Rivers era. They will take a huge step back and these players will finally quit on Norv Turner.

AFC Playoffs

Wildcard Round

3. Baltimore Ravens over 6. Indianapolis Colts

5. Cincinnati Bengals over 4. Kansas City Chiefs

Divisional Round

1. New England Patriots over 5. Cincinnati Bengals

2. Houston Texans over 3. Baltimore Ravens

AFC Championship

1. New England Patriots over 2. Houston Texans

NFC

NFC East

1. Philadelphia Eagles 11-5

If Vick stays healthy they can be one of the best teams in the NFC. Either way they have a very talented team, I suspect they will put it together better in 2012 then they did in 2011.

2. Dallas Cowboys 10-6

The Cowboys are gonna make the Playoffs this season. Their Defense is much Improved and will lead this team to the Playoffs.

3. New York Giants 8-8

The Giants have the toughest schedule in the NFL this year and remember despite the Super Bowl win they only won 9 games last season. They also lost some pieces on Offense. They will take a step back in 2012.

4. Washington Redskins 7-9

I expect RG3 to have a big year but I'm not sure the Redskins have enough to have a big year as a team.

NFC North

1. Chicago Bears 12-4

Cutler reunited with Marshall is huge for Chicago, add Forte and this Offense can be great. Their Defense is getting old but they might still be young enough to compliment this Offense.

2. Green Bay Packers 11-5

I'm not as high on Green Bay as most. They didn't do much to improve their 32nd ranked Defense and I'm not sold on Benson at running back.

3. Detroit Lions 8-8

I think they are gonna end up being a one hit wonder, a fluke. They're are undisciplined and give up too many big plays on Defense. They have a terrible running game on Offense.

4. Minnesota Vikings 4-12

Not a very good team and with Peterson up in the air it could get really ugly.

NFC South

1. Atlanta Falcons 11-5

They are gonna make the Playoffs without question, the question becomes can they win a Playoff Game?

2. Carolina Panthers 9-7

Cam continues to improve as does this Defense. The Panthers will be contending for a Playoff spot this year.

3. New Orleans Saints 6-10

I don't care what anyone says, the whole bounty gate thing is a huge distraction to this team. Also they are gonna be without their Coach all season long. They are not gonna be a very good team.

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 5-11

I think they will be much better in 2013, they just have work to do in 2012. They are building something in Tampa, give them time.

NFC West

1. San Francisco 49ers 12-4

I see no reason why the 49ers can't continue what they started last season. They improved on Offense and should once again be a Super Bowl Contender.

2. Seattle Seahawks 9-7

This Defense is legit and they have a great Home field. The only thing that might hold them back is Pete Carroll.

3. St. Louis Rams 7-9

Jeff Fisher is gonna make this Team better but it might take a couple years. Bradford is gonna have a bounce back year.

4. Arizona Cardinals 4-12

Maybe the worst Team in the NFL. They have no idea who should be their QB and they have a pretty bad Defense. This team is going nowhere fast.

NFC Playoffs

Wildcard Round

6. Dallas Cowboys over 3. Philadelphia Eagles

5. Green Bay Packers over 4. Atlanta Falcons

Divisional Round

1. San Francisco 49ers over 6. Dallas Cowboys

2. Chicago Bears over 5. Green Bay Packers

NFC Championship

1. San Francisco 49ers over 2. Chicago Bears

Super Bowl XLVII

New England Patriots over San Francisco 49ers

The U Scandal

Here we go again, another Major College Football Scandal and this time it's the U. Am I supposed to be surprised? First it was USC, then Ohio State, and now Miami. I think it's becoming a realization that every Big Time Program was Receiving Benifits. College Football is a cesspool for this kind of Shit. As for Miami it's self, this comes as no shock. Think about the Life Style down there, and the Players that attended the U. A lot of the Players that went to the U grew up in Less Fortunate situations and weren't going to pass up Money when giving the opportunity. Then there's the Life Style, have you ever been to Miami? When your down there you can't help but wanna Party, Drink, hit up the Strip Clubs, hang out on the Yachts, Live it up on South Beach. It's pretty obvious this Shit was going down and you know what, it's not a big deal to me. I don't blame those kids for wanting to Live it up. College Athletes should get paid anyways but we

On the Bubble

With the Patriots heading to Detroit this Saturday for their third preseason game there a few players who are in need of a big game to earn themselves a roster spot. This is one of the deepest teams the Patriots have ever had and spots are limited. Here's a list of a few guys who I think are on the bubble right now and will need to do some serious work to make this team. 1. Brandon Tate, WR: With the new Kickoff Rule in the NFL this season it seems like Brandon Tate's value to this team is way down. He was a top 5 Kick Returner in the NFL last year but this year he may not even be needed as kick returns will be limited. He is a much better Kick Returner then Wide Receiver and because he has been injured most of camp he hasn't been able to improve his Wide Receiver skills. Also the emergence of Taylor Price doesn't help either. Brandon Tate is going to have to have a couple big games, receiving not returning, to secure a spot on this team. 2. Sammy Morris, RB: I
